How I became a fan?.

The story:

​

My father worked very long in England. I stayed in Slovakia and attended elementary school. At that time, English had not yet been taught at school.

 

Andrew Pôbiš: " So one day I unwittingly walked into his bedroom. It happened in 2005/06. At that time, I was only 13.14 years old. Mom was at work too. I opened the closet. And I found a DVD from Iron Maiden. With the title: Rock in Rio".

 

Even though I didn't know English at that time.  Because in my school wasn't English yet. She came very late. Up in 6 class. And in officially, it was caught up in 7 grades in elementary school. But I knew that rock is a music genre. Rio ?. I immediately knew it was a city in Brazil. (I knew the word Rio from books or TV documentaries). And geography has not yet been taught at school.  And at that time, as a young boy and a teenager, he knew about foreign countries. Do you understand? Me as a little boy, I knew something like that.

And I said to myself: "Iron Maiden ?. What is it?. How is music" ?. There were off stage and a cloud with a blue skull on the DVD's front cover. On the back of the DVD envelope was, I think, a photo only from the off-stage. And then I ran quickly into the living room. So I put it on a TV DVD player.  The intro was immediately interesting: Arthur's Farewell.

I said, "Ok, great intro. They're going there by helicopter ?. Good work with the traffic" :) And I watched the DVD next.

That moment was great on the DVD. How they were preparing for entry. Then went the song: The Wicker Man. And I was excited about it. I got good energy right away. And that was the beginning of the big power for me. They played really great then. And Bruce ?. At that time he ran there as more marathons. His singing ?. I liked the first moment.

And ... I thought, "The guy is really great". (Laughing). So yes, I'm a big fan.

Later I saw everything. His solo creation. I also know that Iron had other members. Yeah, yes, I know the history of Iron Maiden. Album: Brave New World and DVD I consider one of the best albums. During their return to the music scene. Because it was already an adult album. And this is my favourite album. And so this the last album: Book of souls.  I too like. This latest album: Book of souls. It's the best album now. What they could create so far. Even though there are many great songs and lyrics in many albums.

Have I ever been to a concert ?. Yes, I was on IM. even though I did it quite late. My first live concert to see IM. He was in 2011 in London, England. (I was 18/19 years old at the time).

​And two live concerts in my country. In 2013 in Piestany. (I was 21 years old). And the last live concert. I've been in city  Zilina. In 2016. (And I was already 24 years old).
